I actually have a personal Instagram where I post my #ProjectLife photos and layouts since 2012 (I think). But ever since that fateful month of July, I have been remiss in updating it as my creative juices just dried up. All my energy since July was redirected to the sole purpose of surviving the dark months after the #worstbirthdayweekever. That's why it came a surprise to me when I had the creative spark to start this faith blog of mine~ and a matching faith Instagram account to boot! Yes, the Lord plucked me from the darkest pits, and gave me the strength and inspiration for these wonderful projects to bloom. Out of my ugly and painful TRIals, the Lord fashioned a lovely blog of TRIumph chronicling His faithfulness in my life, and all I can say is:
Before I start my testimony, here's a brief background of my life. I'm an only daughter and because of that, my parents were very strict and protective of me. I'm a straight-A student with no serious behavioral problems so I never really understood why they were so strict with me. Don't they trust me to choose and do the right things? Cinema movies? I watch it with my parents. Weekends are also spent with my family. If I want to spend time with my friends, they should go to our house. Me going to hangout in another place is a big no-no. I never even crossed a street on my own until I was in high school which made me verrry careful in crossing (I wait until both roads are clear of vehicles until now) once I was allowed to. There were also (lots of) other rules that really stifled me, but since I was still being supported by my parents, I followed their rules.
I've been on Pinterest for almost 5 years now (I think, hehe) and I mostly use the site to plan my daughters' birthday parties or getting home improvement ideas. Today, I found a much better use for it: pinning faith verses and photos that inspire me to be more Christ-like :) I've just started so there isn't much to see, but if you're interested on what I have pinned so far, you can check it here: FAITH Pinterest Board. A bit of warning though: Pinterest is highly addicting! Haha! I admit that I spent numerous sleepless nights looking at picture-perfect pins that I never got around to emulate :p
While I have many faith posts written in my head (the oldest one is from my high school years, 2 decades ago!!), my current faith revival stemmed from a proclamation by my hubby's aunt last May 2015. She casually shared to us that the world will end in September 23, 2015 and she admonished us to always pray. I said it's not really the end of the world (i.e. Earth will be destroyed) but that there's just a new world order / NWO. Meaning, our usual life or the world governing systems as we know it will end and be replaced with another. I said this sincerely not knowing that having a NWO is exactly what will happen in the biblical end of days! D'oh! Silly me!
